The emotion of symbolic ceremony
The wedding’s cradle is the symbolic ceremony, written and performed by 3 friends under the supervision of Michele Squeri, under the weeping willow tree in Corte Ortalli Park that recreated an environment of pure intimacy.
The ceremony full of colors and flowers far from the classic canons of traditional wedding like Sterlizia.
Also important were the dresses chosen: the bride had chosen a custom-made petticoat dress entirely embroidered with glass beads, with long sleeves and a detachable chiffon overskirt. While the groom opted for a blue suit with a jacket with a Korean collar.
The elegance of the mise en place
After an aperitif, made by Osteria del 36 and consumed in the courtyard of Corte Ortalli, guests were welcomed into the main hall, which was made out of the renovated barn. Guests could be seated by collecting at the entrance the escort card made from bottles of Gin Tonic to which the name was attached.
The mise en place developed with gray tablecloths, green and orange candles on gold candle holders, and centerpieces consisting of a pumpkin and chosen flowers such as roses, carnations, berries, nutan, sterlizia, and anthuriums.
Scenographic Wedding Cake
Great emphasis was placed on cutting the wedding cake with the creation of a dedicated space.
The Wedding Cake in this case consisted of four tiers with the addition of a spiral of roses, all set in a bamboo gazebo, made for the occasion, and lit by vintage lamps and small lights to create an enchanted atmosphere.
The wedding party
Large space was reserved for the party, as requested by the bride and groom themselves. Here, too, there was no shortage of details that echoed the color-filled theme of the event.
One example is the cocktails selected for the occasion featuring maxi ice cubes engraved with the bride and groom’s initials, or the arched photobooth with lighted lettering with Silvia and Alessandro’s names.
